Managing Director - Garry Kelly
GK Media was set-up in 2013 by Garry Kelly, who is a freelance presenter, producer & tutor in the areas of Film, Television, Radio & Online Marketing.
In 2001, Garry graduated with a distinction in Film & TV (Media Studies) and set-up DIG Productions Ltd. with David Hegarty & Ian W. Davis. Over the years they collectively produced short films, documentaries, audio-visual instalments, music videos & a feature film with the Irish Film Board.
Since 2007, Garry has also worked as a Producer & Presenter at Galway Bay FM and also worked at Newstalk. He is Fully Qualified with the Teaching Council of Ireland to teach Film & TV Studies and Radio & Sound Production. He currently teaches at Huston School of Film & Digital Media, and provides a number of FETAC QQI Courses at GTI.
Content Producer - Ailish Sarah Flaherty
Ailish Sarah Flaherty is a Galway based Director and Editor. She graduated from NUI Maynooth with an honours degree in Media Studies and Music in 2012.
In 2014 Ailish was given the title; Student of the Year for her contribution and effort during her time studying Film Production and TV Presenting at Galway Community College.
Her self-produced documentary 'The Sisters' was awarded Best Short Documentary at the 26th Galway Film Fleadh and has been screened in film festivals internationally.
Content Creator - Barry Gilmartin
Barry Gilmartin is a Galway based Videographer and Director with a flexible range of multimedia skills. He graduated from NUI Galway with an honours degree in Arts with Film Studies in 2016. Barry is currently pursuing an MA in Digital Media with a strong emphasis on web development, graphic design, 3D modelling and animation.
Barry is committed to the evolution of digital technology and has been working in a wide range of multimedia services, including Digital Projection at the Eye Cinema Galway.
A devoted and active filmmaker, Barry has collaborated and lead many short films and regularly submits to local and regional film festivals. He has worked on a variety of corporate videos, including work with Frockadvisor, Good Energies Alliance Ireland and European Voluntary Service.
